SHIPPING 1 – Lives of Sirens


This section can be a little more complicated than normal due to COVID-19 postal impacts. We are dealing with the ever evolving postal systems over many countries, so patience is important with any shipping related enquiry. As a rule, to avoid getting in a twist over this we employ your full compassion, firstly, and we hope you sense the need to work together with patient understanding during this sad and challenging time. Standard shipping is improving but you may see frequent changes to this page over the coming months. 

**We have delays on all BRIDAL JEWELLERY and WEDDING HEAD PIECES due to delays on the materials required to make these items. They are hand made but at a made to order capacity at this stage due to slow delivery times of our materials from European partners. 2-3 week processing times unless stated otherwise in the listing or by staff.

Shipping & Delivery

The majority of the styles featured in our collections at Lives Of Sirens require a minimum delivery period as they are made to order. You will be able to find the delivery time required listed under each individual product. Please add a minimum of 2-6 weeks postal extension (if using standard post) due to COVID delays.

DHL options incur a higher fee are available at check out. This option has been recently added for urgent orders during COVID-19. Please allow for the processing of made to order items on top of this delivery window. Pricing details below.These sorts of deliveries normally take 7-10 days during COVID and 2-5 in normal situations.

Rush Order. Some bridal designs and custom sized orders may require 2-10 weeks for production and delivery, however, we do have rush options available and if you require your dress urgently please contact us. We often have the more popular styles in stock in standard sizes so please inquire and with Studio Collections, if we are not busy, we can fulfil the making process in 4-6 weeks.


AUS/NZ - Free Standard Delivery for orders over $50

All orders are Registered, Trackable and require a signature upon Delivery (zero contact delivery observed during COVID-19).

For orders under $50, standard shipping costs are: 

$25 rate for heavy weight Dresses and capes.

$10 for Jewellery, veils, lightweight gowns & accessories under $50.

Express AUS POST Shipping is an additional flat rate of $20 or FREE for Australia/NZ/UK orders over $1000. Express shipping will be slightly delayed due to COVID-19 restrictions so please be aware we can no longer guarantee delivery dates with this service.

When you receive your dress.

When you receive your beauteous item(s), at first you may notice a crumpled, creased effect on certain plain or sleek shiny fabrics. You will notice beaded fabrics behave better. Before judging too harshly or getting too upset, you must hang your item for a day or two to remove the creases. A very light steam is certainly recommended if you need to use your item ASAP. A professional dry cleaner can help with this, which is normally a small cost, as you won’t need a full dry clean. We will not be held responsible for the return costs if you are unhappy with creasing, unfortunately it's part of the process of buying online, that you understand this and will make the efforts (mentioned above), in improving the look of your gown before your event. Please ask for further assistance if you need help with this.


 Before returning you can consider these options.

 SKIRT LENGTH - TOO LONG. If you have some sizing issues, eg, skirt being long and you have no time for alterations, we recommend pinning the hem length for a temporary solution and then altering later on. Most evening gowns are made slightly longer to account for the many height variants and definitely in most cases we would expect a small alteration may be needed.

  LARGE BUST-BAGGY WAIST - With standard sized gowns, Size up to your bust size and get your waist fabric taken in if you are well endowed. If you then require waistline adjustments to remove excess fabric please work this into  your time scale and your budget. This is often cheaper than returning your gown, most of the time and can create a lovely figure hugging/custom look. 

 WAIST TOO SMALL - Please measure very carefully and refer to the size chart instead of buying your normal size. This will mitigate this problem most of the time. A sneaky way to extend a waist is to add an elasticated zipper. Your tailor may need time for this so please ring around your trusted tailor or dress maker for pricing and availability of this option. 

 We are happy to recommend tailors in your local area you can trust. Please get in touch or google search and use someone with good reviews.


For fabric swatches, shipping cost is $12 for up to 6 swatches, $21 for up to 12 swatches, $31.50 for up to 18 swatches and so on. -  They are by private request so please contact us for a postage invoice once you have decided which swatches you will need.

Fabric swatches are only available for Studio Collection gowns.


Our main priority is getting your items to you safely and in great condition. We take care in sending them out to you. All our dresses are fully checked for defects (most times we record imaging), packaged carefully with tissue paper in our paper, ribbon, plastic sack and then a water tight bag to reduce weight.

If you require, gift boxes can be provided to ensure a more special touch. We can also include a bridesmaid’s or loved one's message within the packaging, so your bridal party will feel special. Just click gift box at checkout and add a note for your message in the notes section at checkout.
